regarding the twin scroll Impreza STI 8-9 JDM setup. I have
been looking
around for a long time to get all the appropriate parts and
I was more than
lucky to get ALL of them in one place; API Engines Ltd. Your

professional contact and enthusiasm, exceeds by far all the
previous
experiences I had with various aftersales services or 'specialists'.
Your
knowledge of the various Subaru specifications and experience
in
modifying the Subaru engine gave the right answers on all
the uprising
questions 'if everything would fit and work fine' due to
the fact that my
car is a Euro Spec STI.
I have to mention that all the parts
are in excellent condition, although
2nd hand, they look as if new!! I am anxious to get them
on my STI, and feel
the big difference they will make on my engine's performance.
I
recommend API Engines Ltd to anybody who wants serious, professional
and friendly help regarding the Subaru vehicle as I already
have done to the

Exhausts & Mapping Testimonials
Hi David,
Just thought I'd drop you a mail to say the new
exhaust and map has completely transformed the car, which
I knew it would but its still an amazing difference.
The big back box looks
fantastic and the exhaust note is excellent. Everything is
better, gear changes are smoother and the car feels much
more pointy and under control with more power being delivered
smoothly.
The
car had sti suspension already fitted when I bought it which
has always felt jolty and a bit uncomfortable, but now seems
to work well with the extra power which has ironed out a
lot of the car's jerkiness.
So many thanks for that. I'll get
in touch again when I've saved up some more pocket money. As
a first step towards modding a basic wrx I think the janspeed
system and Pat's mapping is a very dramatic one and worth every
penny.

Just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you so much for all that you have done in helping me with my car/engine. You made everything so easy and painless for both deciding what to do and on the wallet. Nathan, Martin and all the guys are a big credit to your company, and i can see why you are so busy all the time.
With regard to the car, WOW!! what a transformation. I gave it a bit of beans on the way home on the motorway, and i was breaking the speed limit in seconds! 300ish BHP doesn't sound much nowadays, but its plenty for me at the moment!
Just be a matter of time before i need to find out how much a gearbox rebuild will be!

6 Speed gearbox kit
Hi David!
The 6 speed gearbox kit we bought from you worked perfect on all the 100km of special stages yesterday. We managed to finish at 3 place with fastest stage time on one stage. We are very happy with this. Thanks again for you help.

Canīt tell you enough how happy our rally team are for your help with the gearbox. The gearbox and car are still going perfectly.
We have now won 3 competitions in a row. Attached you will find a action picture from our last race. As you can see, even when the road is "broken" we are going flat out:)
And the car is still working.

given when having a warranty repair. Where other 'specialists'
seriously fall over in this area, APi excel. There was no general
unpleasantness or uneasy feeling you would normally associate
with these circumstances.
I originally wanted a realistic repair budget without compromise
in quality [ not usual the 'big name with equally BIG bill'
associated with Imprezas ] . David and his team want to do
a top job for you - there are no shortcuts in these guys. It's
straight talking down the line advice and help.

To all at API, Just a short note to say thank you for selling me a quality second hand engine for my Mazda MX 5.
I had heard so many bad things about buying so called low mileage imported engines and was very wary about doing so myself.
All I can say is that the mechanical engineer who fitted my engine was most impressed that the engine was not robbed of essential parts and how clean and well packed to the pallet it was.
He stated that he also will recommend you to all his associates.
I had a new timing belt fitted and the engine is running perfectly.

Ref. My 2003 WRX wagon converted to STi 7 engine with TD05 / 18G
I took the car to Snetterton yesterday and as usual had a couple of 'sighter' laps with the resident professional and he said that this car (your engine) spun up more quickly than any Subaru he had ever encountered. Seeing as he goes in 2-3 different scoobies a week, every week, this is a pretty good accolade.

Dear David,
A quick note to give you my first impressions after my drive back to Yorkshire: in a word, fantastic. I'd started to get used to the WRX you loaned me, even to the point of thinking "Hmmm, this is not bad" and wondering whether I was antideluvian by hanging on to the past (ie, a classic and, specifically, a P1). Sitting here with a grin from ear to ear reveals how wrong I was to doubt my blue beast. Five minutes into the drive home and the WRX was a distant memory consigned to the "delete" box. Even before you did the biz, it was a great car - now it's gone up several notches in driveability and appeal. It's smoother, torquier and, if anything, (slightly) more economical. And no scraping from the calipers, though I suspect I may need to seek a more permanent solution. The extra pull in fourth and fifth is especially noticeable - and effective, especially while munching motorway miles. Altogether it just "feels" so much better and as "feel" is what these cars is all about, so top marks to API. I must say a special thanks to your team - every one of them was spot on: polite, helpful and clearly top dogs at getting the job done just right. The bacon and egg buttie and escorted tour to the nearest Optimax station and then on to the motorway was taking customer care to the next level. A special thanks to the young guy who did most of the work - he's spot on and a damned good advert for your business. Many thanks, Dave Blows
