Delivery for all products that are `off the shelf' is by overnight
carrier unless the customer is only a short distance from the local API,
whereupon the branch may elect to deliver themselves if the item is in
stock. There is a charge for delivery on any item unless a promotion
for free delivery is in operation. Mail order cut-off point is 4.00pm
for next day delivery for standard engines, transmissions, fast moving
Premier units and some reconditioned diesels. Delivery for other items
will be quoted at the time of enquiry.
All API products are sent shrink wrapped to a purpose made pallet. The
cost of the palletising is included in the delivery charge.
API prefers payment by credit or debit card and does not make any surcharge
for payment by this method.
It is not possible to arrange C.O.D. payment. Neither does API offer
account facilities.
